Frequently Asked Questions
What feed do you use? Can I bring my own?
We provide a variety of feeds to meet our houses needs. We carry Safechoice Senior, Empower ration balancer, and we also carry alfalfa pellets/cubes, and beet pulp for those that prefer no grain. If your horse cannot switch grains we are more than willing to accommodate you and your horse.
When are the horses in the stalls?
A majority of our horses are stalled during the day with their routine being that they come in in the morning around 9am and go out around 5pm. Depending on weather and the season (time change, storms, sun, very cold mornings ) this could vary for the horses benefit.
Can you ride on the property?
Absolutely! We have 45 acres you are welcome to ride, one pasture does have cows but still welcome to ride in it. We also have trails right outside of the property that make for a great ride.
Is there someone always on property?
Owners, Chad and Willow live on property and between the two of them someone is usually always home! There are 3 additional staff members throughout the week on premesis.
Are there people to ride with?
There is almost always someone willing to hop on their horse and go for a ride! Typically once a month a trail ride is also put together.
Are there any additional costs?
Not when it comes to boarding care! We cover shavings, fly spray, blanketing, and their normal feed. If you choose to have supplemental hay that is an additional cost and you only pay what the feed store is charging, nothing more. All owners cover their own farrier and vet cost, however, we will hold your horses for you for no additional fee!
